Market + Main, Inc. was formed in 2002 as a collaborative partnership between Lakey Broderius Boyd and Aaron Fortner to create a full service planning and economic development firm. We are a Female Business Enterprise (FBE) based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Purposely Small
Market + Main is purposely small. This is a strategic and wholly intentional decision on our part so that as principals, we are able to work on each and every project personally. To complement our skill sets, we often team with other firms who have expertise that balance our work and enable us to perform a variety of planning-related projects. However, we remain committed as a firm to staying small so that the personal accountability and service that we provide can continue to be a defining characteristic of Market + Main.
Intentionally Selective
Since we are determined to stay small, we are also intentional about being selective about the work that we both pursue and accept. Our heightened degree of selection is not based on location, density, or demographics - we work with communities large and small, rural and urban, inside and outside the City, in metro Atlanta and the southeastern United States. Market + Main chooses to work with clients that embrace the concepts of Smart Growth and that desire to create truly sustainable and vibrant communities.
