East Point LCI Study
Determined the potential for redevelopment opportunities and the location for these efforts; there were four major target areas within the City of East Point: additional housing opportunities in the downtown core, as well as the area near Langford Parkway and the Velodrome; a more upscale grocery store in the area of Tri-Cities Plaza; a new civic building and plaza in downtown; and to redevelop an older industrial brownfield site on Lawrence Street. Conducted market analysis, which assessed and projected housing, retail and commercial demands to ensure realistic and implementable plan. Led entire market study for City, both downtown and the surrounding area, as well as making recommendations on economic development strategies and catalyst projects to strategically spur redevelopment.
