Ponce-Moreland Corridor & LCI Study

Large corridor area (Ponce de Leon Avenue and Moreland Avenue) that encompassed much of "intown Atlanta," project had specific focus on redevelopment and how to balance it with continuing infill development. Served as market analysis, urban design and public involvement sub-consultant on project with City of Atlanta. LCI study area was concentrated in Inman Park, Candler Park and Edgewood neighborhoods along Moreland Avenue. The primary catalyst projects identified included: TOD infill development, townhome development along DeKalb Avenue, commercial redevelopment along Moreland Avenue, and creating multi-modal destination. Connections to two transit stations, as well as integrating large-scale mixed-use infill development, were primary considerations.
